Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress towards Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. In 2017, he dropped ADN which was his debut long-player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It was atop the Top Latin Albums chart, it ranked no. 8. The following year he was a part of Ozuna for the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in 2020. Following that season, Dopamina became his second album. In 2021, he appeared in a duet with TINI on her most streamed track Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, as both his mother & his older brother are musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has stated that music is a must. As a child, was playing the ukulele and piano. Although he initially wanted to work as a vet, Julian convinced him that taking lessons with an Cuban singer would alter the direction of his profession.
